Jenna Ortega Channels a Gothic Kate Moss in a Leather Slip Dress

Jenna Ortega, for example, is delivering as many last-minute looks as she and stylist Enrique Melendez can beforeWednesday Season 2 drops on Friday. As the promo cut-off drew near, Ortega's style streak continued on August 5 in fresh-off-the-runway Ann Demeulemeester. At New York City's Paris Theater, Ortega met up with her Wednesday co-stars to surprise fans at a special screening. She hasn't gone the all-black route in a week, as to not be "too predictable," Melendez told me earlier in the tour. But on Tuesday evening, she returned to her character's roots in Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2025. Ortega picked Look 4 from the 37-piece line: a '90s-inspired slip dress made of leather and silk. As seen on the runway, the leather ruffles began at the cowl neck and ended atop the asymmetrical hem. In the Fall 2025 show, the model grunge-ified her gown with chunky platform shoes. Ortega, however, chose lace-up knee-high boots from Miista, which looked straight out of Wednesday Addams's gothic, yet academic aesthetic. In the accessory department, Ortega swapped the catwalk choices for more minimalist moments, including a singular silver bangle, mismatched rings, and no necklace. Direct from the red carpet, Melendez posted Ortega's step-and-repeat on Instagram, calling the Demeulemeester design "perfect for NYC." In another IG story, he applauded Ortega for "serving Kate Goth... I mean, Kate Moss." Clearly the supermodel, and her '90s-era slips inspired their selection. View Deal Moss is practically synonymous with '90s slip dresses featuring the same cowl neckline and flowy skirt as Ortega's. At the 1995 CFDA Awards, the A-lister stole the show in a white maxi. If the LWD turned black, it would've bared a shocking resemblance to Ortega's latest look, hence the "Kate Goth" reference. And just like that, Ortega and Melendez nailed another homage. At this point, the dynamic duo are their own competition. I, for one, can't wait for the L.A. premiere tomorrow, where they'll certainly outdo themselves once again. ‘Wednesday' Season 2 Trailer Teases Familiar Faces & a Hint at Lady Gaga's Character

Part one of Wednesday season two left the show's morose heroine on a massive cliffhanger — and the new trailer for the season's second part offers only more questions about what is to come for the Addams daughter. In a trailer that dropped on Thursday (Aug. 14) for the forthcoming second half of the season, Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams wakes up in a hospital after being attacked by former classmate Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), only to see her former, now-deceased principal Larissa Weems (played by Gwendoline Christie) appearing as her new 'spirit guide.' More from Billboard Lady Gaga's 'Wednesday' Role Will Also Include a Spooky New Song for Season 2 Lady Gaga's 'Wednesday' Character Confirmed, First Six Minutes of Season Two Released Bob the Drag Queen Counts How Many Times Lady Gaga Asks Fans at Mayhem Ball to Put Their Paws Up The remainder of the trailer shows Wednesday moving through Nevermore Academy and the local town of Jericho, hunting down Tyler and attempting to save both her family and friends from impending doom. As the plot thickens and the teenager encounters more and more of her family's 'dark chapter,' she is offered an eerily warning by a familiar-sounding voice: 'Beware — there will be a price to pay.' Fans immediately clocked the eerie voice as none other than Lady Gaga, who was announced as a cast member on season two back in November. Mother Monster memorably announced her arrival into the Wednesday universe at Netflix's Tudum event in May, where she performed a rousing medley of her tracks 'Zombieboy,' 'Bloody Mary' and 'Abracadabra,' where she was joined onstage by Ortega. This won't be the first time Gaga's name is associated with the hit show. After the runaway success of season one, fans began making social media edits of Ortega's titular character dancing to a sped-up version of Gaga's Born This Way B-side 'Bloody Mary.' The viral trend gave the song its debut on the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent 18 weeks, peaking at No. 41 in April 2023. While the show didn't offer further details regarding Gaga's enigmatic character on the hit series, Billboard previously learned that the second part of season two will also coincide with a new song coming from Mother Monster. Entitled 'Dead Dance,' the track is expected to drop in September alongside the final four episodes of the season. Wednesday season two part two will arrive Sept. 3 on Netflix. Jenna Ortega's Bad Plastic Surgery Makeover Might Be The Right Career Move

Celebrities have been destroying their faces with plastic surgery for as long as Hollywood has existed, but it's never been dumber and more unnecessary than it is now. This is the week Sydney Sweeney is being celebrated for her natural genes, and Pam Anderson is making a comeback in her 50s by, shockingly, just looking like a woman in her 50s who is aging naturally. That current cultural direction makes it particularly bad timing for Wednesday star Jenna Ortega to show up on the red carpet looking like she hired a plastic surgeon to dump bleach on her face and take a chisel to her cheekbones. People were going to notice. Accounts on X, who claim to be doctors, are accusing her of getting Buccal fat removal done. This cosmetic surgery reduces cheek fullness by extracting fat pads from the lower face. However, it is entirely possible that she hasn't used a hatchet on her head and that this new look is the temporary work of a highly talented makeup artist with a vendetta against her. We don't know whether it's actual bad plastic surgery or just fake bad plastic surgery, but you have to wonder what's going on to make someone willingly walk out the front door looking this way. That said, if this creepy look will work for anyone, it'll be Jenna Ortega. While Sydney Sweeney has been building a career out of being a natural beauty, Ortega has been building her brand around playing the weirdest-looking member of the Addams family. I'm not saying Jenna Ortega isn't pretty; she is, emphasizing that it is just not the path her career has led her in. Instead, like Christina Ricci before her, thanks to the Addams Family association, she's always going to be thought of as that weird girl. What better way to embrace it than by emphasizing it with freaky plastic surgery? Wednesday Addams would approve. Solve the daily Crossword
